How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Corporate Legal Specialist – Remote | $100 –$150/hr

    About the Role

    A leading AI research lab is seeking experienced Legal professionals to join a project aimed at improving how AI systems understand, process, and reason about complex legal concepts. In this role, you will design challenging legal questions, evaluate AI-generated responses, and provide structured insights that shape the future of AI in the legal domain.

    This is a unique opportunity to apply your legal expertise to cutting-edge AI research while working remotely and flexibly.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and review legal questions and evaluation sets across multiple practice areas.
    • Assess AI-generated legal responses for accuracy, clarity, and logical reasoning.
    • Solve domain-specific legal problems to benchmark model capabilities.
    • Synthesize complex legal information from statutes, case law, and academic sources.
    • Provide structured, detailed feedback to align AI systems with legal standards and practices.

    Qualifications

    • Advanced legal education or credentials (e.g., J.D., LL.M., S.J.D., Ph.D. In Law) from a top university.
    • Strong legal research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
    • Exceptional written communication and attention to detail.
    • Ability to synthesize information across diverse legal sources.
    • Preferred: prior law practice or industry experience (litigation, corporate, regulatory, etc.).
    • Location: Must be based in the U.S., U.K., Canada, or Australia.

    Project Details

    • Start Date: Immediate.
    • Duration: 4 weeks (with extension potential).
    • Commitment: Part-time, ~20+ hours/week.
    • Schedule: Fully remote and asynchronous — work on your own schedule.

    Compensation & Contract

    • Rate: $110–$130/hour (USD).
    • Performance Incentives: Top performers may earn an additional $20–$100/hour bonus.
    • Independent contractor engagement.
    • Daily payments via Stripe Connect.
