A well-established creative organisation is looking to bring in a People & Culture Advisor to support its growing team. This is a hands-on HR role with a strong focus on employee relations, where youβll play an important part in guiding managers through day-to-day people challenges and more complex casework. Youβll be stepping into a position where youβre trusted to manage your own workload, provide clear and practical advice, and help maintain a positive and compliant working environment across the business. Itβs a great fit for someone who enjoys balancing operational HR duties with more advisory-based support.
πΉ Your Responsibilities:
β Maintain accurate HR records and produce reports to support compliance and decision making
β Provide HR guidance to managers and employees, acting as a go-to for day-to-day people queries
β Review and refine internal policies to ensure they remain up to date and aligned with current legislation
β Support onboarding, training, and wider people-focused activities
β Take the lead on employee relations matters, overseeing cases through to resolution
β Assist with wider HR initiatives aimed at improving processes and employee experience
β Support managers in handling performance, absence, and conduct-related issues confidently and fairly
πΉ What Weβre Looking For:
β Clear and professional communication style with a practical mindset
β Ability to prioritise and manage a varied workload with minimal supervision
β Experience working in a generalist HR role at Advisor level
β Comfortable building relationships and influencing stakeholders across different teams
β Strong understanding of employee relations processes and confidence managing cases independently
β Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law
β High level of organisation and strong attention to detail
β Experience supporting the full employee lifecycle within a business environment
β CIPD qualification or similar
β Background in arts, culture, or not-for-profit environments
β Well suited to someone who enjoys taking ownership, working closely with managers, and being involved in a wide range of HR activity in a collaborative setting
