How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting for a FM Technician (Plumber)

    Undertake planned, reactive, corrective and emergency maintenance tasks across the ExxonMobil Fawley refinery site.

    What You'll Do:

    Uphold and embrace CBRE and ExxonMobil Health and Safety requirements.
    Demonstrate a strong behavioural commitment to Health and Safety.
    Become actively involved in client Loss Prevention System (LPS) operation and adopt requirements as an integral part of day-to-day activities.
    Carry out reactive Plumbing works to a high-quality standard which is compliant with statutory regulations and SLA's
    Carry out plumbing related planned maintenance activities to a high-quality standard and in accordance with CMMS work plans.
    Undertake plumbing installation work in accordance with regulatory requirements...
    Work in conjunction with projects team to support plumbing requirements for project works.
    Preparation of calorifiers for insurance inspections.
    Participate in emergency call out rota.
    Ensure compliance with all relevant standards for all works.
    Perform isolations and accurately complete associated documentation.
    Specify materials and spare parts as required for reactive or planned maintenance plumbing related activities.
    Work within the requirements of the site Permit to Work system.
    Utilise MEWP's and other access equipment as required for working at height.
    Ability to deliver work to a high standard and correct first time.
    Actively support continuous improvement and efficiency programs to promote best practice solutions.
    Buddy third party service providers to ensure compliance with site rules and requirements as and when required.
    Participate in training and development programs as agreed with Supervision.
    Driving vehicles including vans for the purpose of undertaking work activities.
    Uphold housekeeping standards for CBRE and customer work areas.
    Assist other Team members in all fields when required.
    Demonstrate a focus on customer satisfaction.
    Develop positive customer relationships.
    Updating maintenance records either electronically or on paper-based system. · Assist with other duties within personal competencies

    What You'll Need:

    Full UK driving licence.
    City and Guilds level 2 plumbing, or equivalent experience
    Must be an experienced Plumber with commercial and industrial experience
    BPEC water regulations.
    Experience of working on pressure systems...
    IPAF or equivalent licence for MEWP operation
    Experience in working on industrial sites.
    Computer literate in MS office applications.
    In depth knowledge of L8 Approved Code of Practice.
