How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    FORKLIFT DRIVER / STORES PERSON
    Salary: Competitive
    Hours: Full time 37.5 per week Monday – Friday 08:00 – 16:00

    An exciting opportunity for a Forklift driver / Stores Person has arisen for an enthusiastic and driven individual to join the team based in Glenrothes.
    Key responsibilities:
    * Working to a delivery schedule
    * Pick/ pack a range of products for dispatch
    * Booking in/out stock
    * Work as part of the team from order confirmation through to dispatch
    * Operate forklift trucks and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently in compliance with company policies and procedures
    * Load and unload goods from vehicles such as trucks and vans, either manually or with the use of forklifts or other equipment
    * Ensure goods are stored in the correct areas of the warehouse so that they can be easily located when needed
    * Keep accurate records of inventory and stock movements.
    * Perform regular checks on forklift trucks and other equipment to ensure they are in good working order
    * Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse environment.
    * Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others
    About you:
    * Counterbalance and flexi-truck experience and certificates are essential
    * Previous experience working within a warehouse environment
    * Good attention to detail and organisational skills
    * Self-motivated
    * Demonstrates flexibility
    * Ability to work well with others and communicate effectively
