Factory Operatives Paint Department

Location: Hilsea, Portsmouth
Pay Rate: £12.91 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am 2:00pm
Contract: Temporary

V3 Recruitment are currently seeking Factory Operatives to join the Paint Department of a large and well-established automotive manufacturing company based in Hilsea, Portsmouth.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience within a busy production environment, working as part of a supportive team producing high-quality automotive components.

Key Responsibilities

As a Paint Line Technician, your duties will include:

Loading automotive components onto stands and production line fixtures
Masking parts with tape in preparation for painting
Cleaning and preparing components prior to processing
Loading and unloading parts from the production line
Mixing paints within a designated paint booth
Carrying out flaming processes as part of the production cycle
Working safely with paints, solvents and other manufacturing materials
Conducting visual quality checks to ensure products meet required standards
Maintaining a clean and organised work area
What We're Looking For

Physically fit and comfortable performing manual tasks throughout the shift
Able to stand for extended periods of time
Reliable, punctual and hardworking
Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
Comfortable carrying out repetitive tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Previous factory or production experience is beneficial but not essential
Additional Information

Please note that this role is physically demanding and involves working with paints, solvents and other production materials. Full training will be provided.
