How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Are you an Engineering graduate ready to launch your career in design and innovation? Join a leading global engineering company at the forefront of developing next-generation technology for a range of High Tech and Green Tech industries at their site near Fareham.

    As part of the global R&D team, you’ll work alongside experts in mechanical, electrical, and process engineering to deliver sustainable design solutions for a complex. You’ll gain invaluable experience while contributing to projects that make a lasting impact worldwide.

    What You’ll Do:

    * Support the mechanical design and development of new and existing products

    * Use 3D modelling and 2D drafting tools to bring new designs to life

    * Contribute to technical analysis to boost product performance and efficiency

    * Collaborate with cross-functional teams in engineering, supply chain, and manufacturing

    * Get hands-on involvement in global product launches and transfers with options to travel to US and Europe

    What We’re Looking For:

    * A degree in Mechanical Engineering or Product Design (or related discipline).

    * Knowledge of 3D Modelling/2D Drafting (Autodesk Inventor preferred).

    * A problem-solving mindset with a passion for engineering innovation.

    * Strong communication and teamwork skills, especially in diverse global environments.
