About the Role
We are looking for passionate and reliable Chef/Cooks to join a welcoming residential care home in Dawlish. You will be working in a fully refurbished, modern kitchen, preparing nutritious, home-cooked meals for elderly residents in a warm and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
Preparing and cooking fresh, balanced meals daily
Catering for individual dietary and nutritional needs
Ensuring high standards of food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness
Supporting menu planning and food variety
Managing stock rotation and basic ordering
Working collaboratively with care and support staff
Promoting a positive dining experience for residents
About You
Previous experience as a Cook or Chef (care home experience desirable but not essential)
Understanding of dietary requirements in elderly care (or willingness to learn)
Reliable, organised, and able to work independently
Strong awareness of food hygiene standards (Level 2 Food Safety preferred)
Friendly, caring approach with a passion for good food
