The Role
As a Spot Welder, you will be responsible for operating spot welding equipment, producing parts to the required quality standards, and supporting daily production targets in a safe and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities
* Set and operate spot welding machines and associated equipment.
* Produce components accurately and in line with production requirements.
* Check parts against drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
* Carry out basic machine checks and report any faults or production issues.
* Maintain accurate production and quality records where required.
* Keep the work area clean, organised, and compliant with 5S standards.
* Follow all health, safety, and company procedures at all times.
* Work as part of a team to meet production targets and support continuous improvement.
About You
* Previous experience in spot welding, robotic welding, or a similar manufacturing role is preferred.
* Ability to read and work from basic drawings or job instructions.
* Good attention to detail and a strong focus on quality.
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work rotating shifts.
* Able to work independently and as part of a team.
* Positive attitude towards health and safety, productivity, and continuous improvement.
Hours of Work
This role works on a rotating shift pattern:
* Morning shift: 6:00am – 2:00pm
* Afternoon shift: 2:00pm – 10:00pm
Pay: £15.50 per hour, weekly pay
