How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Junior Calibration Engineer (Full Training Provided)

    Field Based: Commutable from Bridport, Weymouth, Exeter, Seaton and Surrounding Areas

    Are you a highly motivated individual from any kind of Mechanical or Electrical background or similar, looking for the rare opportunity to be fully trained into becoming a Calibration Engineer, within a business who truly value their employees which is further proven by their Excellent Development opportunities as well as giving you equity within the business?

    This specialist company have been established for over 5 decades and are well known experts in their industry, due to a takeover and rapidly increasing business, they are now looking for a Junior Engineer to join and heavily invest into.

    On offer is an excellent opportunity where once upskilled, you will be responsible for all things calibration within a wide array of different industries, visiting client's sites and demonstrating yourself as a technical expert with further progression opportunities later on down the line.

    This role would suit someone with experience in any mechanical or electrical environment, looking for excellent training and investment opportunities within a rapidly growing business who are known for their great treatment of staff.

    The Role:
    *Full Training and Development into becoming a Calibration Engineer
    *Calibration work on a variety of customer products
    *Working and travelling across the UK to customers sites with occasional stays away

    The Candidate:
    *From any Mechanical or Electrical background
    *UK Driver's license
    *Able to travel across the UK with the occasional stay away
