The Role
An exciting opportunity for a Senior Commercial Manager to take ownership of the commercial function across a portfolio of flagship projects.
You will play a key leadership role, driving commercial performance, managing risk, and ensuring projects are delivered profitably from pre-construction through to final account.
Key Responsibilities
Lead commercial strategy across multiple projects
Oversee cost planning, procurement, and financial reporting
Manage and develop a team of commercial professionals
Drive margin improvement and cost control initiatives
Manage contract compliance (JCT / Design & Build)
Lead negotiations with clients and subcontractors
Provide accurate forecasting and reporting to senior leadership
Identify and mitigate commercial risks and opportunities
Requirements
Proven experience in a Senior Commercial Manager or Commercial Lead role
Background in commercial fit-out or construction
Strong knowledge of JCT contracts
Demonstrated leadership and team management experience
Excellent commercial acumen and negotiation skills
Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar (preferred)
