How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Senior HR Advisor / HR Business Partner

    Location: Peterborough
    Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

    Interaction Recruitment is proud to be partnering with a well-established and growing business in Peterborough to recruit an experienced Senior HR Advisor / HR Business Partner.

    This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded HR professional who enjoys building strong relationships, influencing stakeholders, and delivering people-focused solutions that support business objectives.

    The Role

    Working closely with senior managers across the business, you will provide expert HR advice and guidance while supporting the development and implementation of people strategies that drive engagement, performance and organisational success.

    Key responsibilities include:

    Partnering with managers to provide pragmatic HR advice across all employee relations matters.
    Leading on complex casework, including disciplinary, grievance, absence management and performance issues.
    Supporting organisational change projects, restructures and workforce planning.
    Coaching and developing managers to build confidence in people management.
    Supporting recruitment and talent acquisition strategies for key hires.
    Identifying training and development needs and contributing to learning initiatives.
    Reviewing and developing HR policies and procedures in line with current employment legislation.
    Analysing HR data and trends to support business decisions and continuous improvement.
    Contributing to wider HR projects focused on employee engagement, wellbeing, retention and organisational development.

    About You

    We're looking for an experienced HR professional who can confidently build relationships at all levels of the business.

    You'll ideally have:

    Proven experience in a Senior HR Advisor, HR Business Partner or similar role.
    Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
    Experience managing complex employee relations cases.
    Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
    A proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong commercial awareness.
    The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    CIPD Level 5 or Level 7 qualification (or equivalent experience).
