Are you a technically strong designer with a passion for delivering high-quality commercial workplace projects?
We're working with a growing commercial fit-out specialist who is looking to appoint a Technical Designer to join their close-knit design team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking a flexible part-time position while still playing a key role in the delivery of exciting CAT B workplace projects across London and the South East.
The Role
You'll be responsible for producing detailed technical drawing packages, supporting projects from concept through to construction, and working closely with the bid team to help secure new work through high-quality design submissions.
This is a varied role combining technical design, coordination, and bid support within a collaborative office environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Produce detailed technical drawing packages using AutoCAD.
* Develop technical designs for commercial CAT B fit-out projects.
* Support bid and tender submissions with technical layouts and design information.
* Coordinate with project managers, designers, consultants, and subcontractors.
* Ensure designs comply with current regulations and project specifications.
* Assist with design development from pre-construction through to project delivery.
* Attend design meetings and provide technical support throughout projects.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Technical Designer within commercial CAT B fit-out.
* Strong AutoCAD skills are essential.
* Previous experience supporting bid design and tender submissions.
* Excellent technical detailing and drawing production skills.
* Good understanding of construction methods and UK Building Regulations.
* Strong communication and coordination abilities.
* Able to work from the office near WGC

£40000.00 - £65000.00 per year
