I am assisting an independent, and highly respected building company in their search for an experienced carpenter. This highly regarded company specialises in building residential extensions, loft conversions and end to end residential refurbishments.
The types of projects include:
* Single / double storey extensions
* Wrap around and loft extensions
* Internal Refurbishments
* Room Repurposing / Garage Conversions
* Office rip-outs / re-fits
The ideal person should possess a van, their own tools and live in (or around) the Bromley, Croydon, Lewisham (or relative) area.
It would be highly beneficial if you were also be proficient in some of the following trades:
* 1st / 2nd Fix Carpentry (This should be your CORE/MAIN trade)
* Painting & Decorating
* Plaster boarding / Rendering
* Internal Tiling, Grouting and Floor Screeding
* Sealant / Mastic work
If you are an experienced Carpenter who takes care and pride in producing an excellent finish, then this could be the opportunity you have been looking for.
Typically, most of the projects are situated in South East London, Kent, Surrey. You MUST have your own van and be able to travel between sites to assist where necessary.
Preferably, you will already be self-employed and have your own van & basic tools.
