How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Job Title: Quality Control & Weighbridge Assistant (Harvest Cover)

    Location: Alloa, Scotland

    Hourly Rate: £13.73 per hour

    Duration: Approx. 10 weeks (Harvest Season)

    Hours: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM (Monday to Friday, with potential for overtime)

    About the Role

    We are seeking two reliable and detail-oriented Agency Temps to join our team in Alloa for the busy harvest period. If you enjoy a fast-paced environment that blends data entry, vehicle coordination, and basic quality testing, this is the perfect short-term contract for you.

    Key Responsibilities

    Intake & Dispatch: Managing the flow of vehicles arriving and departing the site.
    Weighbridge Operations: Accurately weighing vehicles, recording data, and coordinating outgoing materials.
    Quality Testing: Testing raw and finished materials to ensure they meet strict required specifications.
    Administration: Efficient and accurate data entry to keep our harvest records up to date.

    What We Are Looking For

    Strong attention to detail and accuracy with data.
    Excellent communication skills for coordinating with drivers and site teams.
    A reliable, punctual work ethic (essential for those 7:00 AM starts!).
    Previous experience in a weighbridge, warehouse, intake, or quality control environment is a major plus, but full training will be provided.To apply please call Danielle on (phone number removed)
