Temporary to permanent opportunity
Monday to Friday, start times between 4:30am and 6am depending on route
£15.23 per hour, rising to £20.30 per hour after 48 hours, paid weekly
£26.20 overnight allowance - overnights available at least every second week
Own vehicle assigned from day oneAs a Class 2 Driver, your duties will include:
Collecting end-of-life tyres from garages, commercial businesses and waste facilities across Scotland
Manually loading and unloading tyres at collection points and the depot
Completing all required paperwork including waste transfer notes accurately
Conducting daily vehicle safety checks and reporting any defects promptly
Providing a professional and courteous service to customers at all collection pointsThe ideal Class 2 Driver will have:
A valid Class 2 licence - new driver's welcome
Valid DCPC and Digital Tachograph Card
A good level of physical fitness due to the manual handling requirements of the role
Good communication skills and a professional approach to customer interaction
