How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

They specialise in delivering high-quality Level 3 and Level 4 engineering apprenticeships, higher education programmes, and commercial upskilling courses to more than 300 client companies across the UK.

    Working in partnership with leading engineering and manufacturing employers, our client is committed to advancing engineering skills locally, regionally, and nationally. They are currently recruiting for an experienced Fabrication and Welding Instructor.

    The Role:

    Our client recruits industry specialists looking to transition into a rewarding career in training and skills development.

    They are seeking an experienced and motivated Fabrication and Welding Instructor (or Fabricator/Welder, depending on your preferred job title) to join their team and help develop the next generation of skilled engineers.

    The ideal candidate will have strong, hands-on expertise in:

    * Welding techniques

    * Pipe fitting (advantageous)

    * Plating

    * Sheet metal work

    What We're Looking For:

    * Level 3 Craft Certificate (or equivalent)

    * An HNC qualification or higher would be advantageous

    * Teaching and assessing qualifications are desirable but not essential, as full training and support will be provided to help develop the necessary skills.
