Salary: £75,000-£85,000 + Company Car/Car Allowance + Comprehensive Benefits Package
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Civil Engineering Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of complex marine and civil engineering projects within a live 24/7 operational port environment.
This role offers the opportunity to take full responsibility for project planning, delivery and performance, ensuring works are completed safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the delivery of marine and landside civil engineering projects from planning through to completion.
Develop and manage project programmes, sequencing, lookahead plans and risk mitigation strategies.
Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
Manage subcontractor procurement, mobilisation and performance.
Coordinate design management, technical approvals and engineering assurance.
Lead and support site teams to deliver projects safely and efficiently.
Ensure full compliance with CDM 2015, health & safety legislation and environmental standards.
Oversee quality assurance, commissioning and project handover.
Requirements
Proven experience delivering civil engineering or construction projects within complex operational environments such as ports, infrastructure, highways or utilities.
Strong project planning and programme management experience.
Excellent understanding of CDM 2015 and UK health & safety legislation.
Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Commercial awareness with experience administering construction contracts.
Desirable
Marine, coastal or port infrastructure project experience.
Temporary Works, Lifting Operations or First Aid qualifications.
Degree, HNC/HND or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
