How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    As HR Manager, you will provide proactive, high-quality HR support to academies across the Trust, partnering closely with leaders on all people matters. You'll lead on employee relations, support organisational development, and help drive a positive, compliant and high-performing culture.

C.I.T comprises 19 academies across Lincolnshire, Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire, alongside its Teaching Centre - LEARN. The Trust is committed to delivering high-quality education and care, underpinned by strong values of inclusion, collaboration and aspiration, ensuring both pupils and staff are supported to achieve their full potential. As an HR Manager, you will play a key role in supporting schools across the Trust, providing high-quality, proactive HR advice and delivering people-focused solutions that drive positive outcomes for staff and students alike.

    Description

    Provide expert HR advice and guidance to senior leaders across the Trust on all people matters Lead and manage a wide range of employee relations casework, including disciplinary, grievance, capability and absence cases
    Build strong, trusted relationships with academies, acting as a key HR partner
    Support recruitment, induction, probation and performance management processes
    Ensure effective implementation of HR policies and compliance with employment legislation
    Conduct investigations, hearings and present cases where required
    Lead on absence management and provide insightful reporting to support decision-making
    Contribute to the development and delivery of HR strategy and initiatives
    Support organisational development, training and continuous improvement across the Trust
    Line manage and support HR administration colleaguesProfile

    CIPD qualified (or equivalent experience)
    Strong generalist HR background with proven experience managing complex employee relations cases
    Up-to-date knowledge of employment law and HR best practice Experience advising and influencing senior stakeholders
    Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills
    Ability to work independently across multiple sites and manage a varied workload
    A proactive, collaborative approach with a commitment to continuous improvement
