Nursery Manager – September 2026
We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and inspirational Nursery Manager to lead a welcoming and well-established nursery in Bracknell from September 2026.
This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated early years professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering outstanding childcare and education. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the nursery, ensuring the highest standards of care, learning and safeguarding are maintained.
The Role
You will:

Lead, motivate and support the nursery team to deliver high-quality early years education and care.
*
Oversee the daily operation of the nursery, ensuring a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment for all children.
*
Ensure compliance with EYFS statutory requirements, safeguarding procedures and all relevant policies and legislation.
*
Monitor the quality of teaching and learning, supporting staff development and continuous improvement.
*
Build positive relationships with children, parents, carers and external agencies.
*
Manage staff recruitment, induction, training, performance and supervision.
*
Oversee occupancy levels, admissions and nursery administration.
*
Manage budgets, resources and operational requirements effectively.
*
Prepare for and support inspections, maintaining high standards across all aspects of the nursery.
The Ideal Candidate
The successful applicant will have:

A recognised Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education and Childcare as a minimum (Level 5 or above desirable).

Previous experience in a Nursery Manager, Deputy Nursery Manager or senior leadership role within an early years setting.
*
A strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and safeguarding requirements.
*
Proven leadership, organisational and people management skills.
*
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
*
A commitment to delivering outstanding outcomes for children and supporting staff development.

A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
