How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Agentic AI Developer

    Rate - £525 a day
    Location - Manchester
    Duration - 3 Months initially
    Ir35 - Inside (Must use an umbrella Company)

    Based within the Digital Workplace Team, the AI Enablement Officer will play an essential role in supporting the University's growing use of NebulaONE, the University's platform for responsible AI, intelligent automation and knowledge-driven service improvement agents.

    The postholder will apply strong organisational, communication and support skills to help colleagues effectively use NebulaONE and other emerging AI technologies.

    They will provide platform administration, user onboarding, training and support services that enable staff to create, manage and use AI agents confidently and responsibly. Working closely with the Agentic AI Engineer, the postholder will support the operational delivery and adoption of NebulaONE across the University.
    Working alongside colleagues from across the University, the postholder will help promote the effective use of AI technologies, support users throughout their adoption journey and contribute directly to the Manchester 2035 strategic vision.

    What are you looking for in terms of previous experience / skills
    Platform Administration

    Configures and maintains user access, permissions, groups and platform settings within NebulaONE
    Supports the onboarding of new users, departments and projects onto NebulaONE
    Maintains platform documentation, user guidance and operational procedures User Enablement

    Delivers training sessions, workshops and demonstrations to support the effective use of NebulaONE
    Acts as a key point of contact for NebulaONE users, providing guidance on platform capabilities and best practice
    Works with stakeholders across the University to support the successful adoption of NebulaONE
    Operational Support
    Works closely with the Agentic AI Engineer to support the delivery, administration and growth of NebulaONE
    Supports testing, rollout and user adoption of new NebulaONE capabilities and features Engagement and Continuous Improvement

    Monitors platform usage and user feedback to identify opportunities for improvement
    Contributes to the development of support resources, training materials and knowledge repositories
    Participates in broader AI-related communities of practice across the University and wider HE sector
