How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Sales Development Representative - IT Solutions

    Stretford, Manchester (Office Based)
    Monday-Friday | 9:00am-5:30pm
    £30,000 basic + Uncapped commission

    Are you a confident, driven salesperson who enjoys picking up the phone, building relationships and creating opportunities?

    We're looking for ambitious Sales Development Representatives to join a growing technology business in Manchester. This is a high-energy, office-based sales role where you'll take ownership of an established portfolio of SME customers, reactivating dormant accounts, uncovering new opportunities and driving revenue growth.

    What you'll be doing

    Re-engaging existing and dormant business customers through proactive outbound calling
    Building relationships with key decision-makers across your customer portfolio
    Identifying new opportunities and generating additional revenue
    Selling solutions across connectivity, telecoms, cyber security, Microsoft and managed IT services
    Managing opportunities from initial conversation through to close
    Achieving and exceeding daily, weekly and monthly sales targets
    Maintaining accurate CRM records and pipeline activity
    Working closely with technical specialists to deliver the right customer solutions

    What we're looking for

    1-3 years' experience in B2B sales, telesales, internal sales or account management
    Experience selling IT, telecoms, connectivity, cyber security or Microsoft solutions would be highly advantageous
    Confidence making outbound sales calls and building rapport with customers
    A resilient, positive attitude with the determination to achieve and exceed targets
    Excellent communication and objection-handling skills
    Strong commercial awareness and a consultative sales approach
    Good IT literacy and a willingness to learn
    Able to commute to the Stretford office (within approximately 30-40 minutes)
    Able to successfully complete DBS and background screening
