How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Looking for more than just another admin job?

    Our client is a successful utilities and infrastructure contractor who is looking to recruit an Administrator to support their Fleet and Operations team. Full training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for someone wanting to progress into a specialist operational support role.

    What you'll be doing
    You'll become a key member of the operations team, providing administrative support and helping ensure company vehicles, plant and equipment are available when needed.
    Your duties will include:
    * Maintaining accurate records using Microsoft Excel and internal systems
    * Processing purchase orders, invoices and hire documentation
    * Updating fleet and asset records
    * Coordinating vehicle, plant and equipment deliveries and collections
    * Liaising with suppliers, engineers and operational teams
    * Producing reports for management
    * Supporting the onboarding of new vehicles and equipment
    * Providing day-to-day administrative support to the Operations team
    * Assisting with stock and equipment tracking
    *
    No previous fleet experience is required - training will be provided.
    What we're looking for
    We're looking for someone who enjoys administration and wants to build a long-term career.
    You'll ideally have:
    * Previous administration or office experience
    * Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Outlook
    * Excellent organisation and attention to detail
    * Strong communication skills
    * A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
    * Full UK Driving Licence
    Experience within construction, utilities, logistics or transport would be advantageous but is by no means essential.
