Salary: £27,000 – £32,000 per annum (depending on experience)
About the Role
We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Landscape Operative / Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our team working across sites in and around Basingstoke.
This is a hands-on outdoor role involving a mix of soft and hard landscaping duties. You will work as part of a team delivering high-quality external works on residential and commercial sites.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in their work, and is looking to build a long-term career in landscaping or construction.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out general landscaping and grounds maintenance duties across multiple sites.
* Assist with hard landscaping works including paving, edging and fencing.
* Undertake soft landscaping tasks such as planting, turfing and soil preparation.
* Load and unload materials and equipment safely.
* Operate hand tools and small plant equipment where required.
* Ensure sites are kept clean, tidy and safe at all times.
* Work collaboratively with other team members and follow site instructions.
* Adhere to all health & safety procedures and company guidelines.
Requirements
* Previous landscaping or construction experience (preferred but not essential).
* Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
* Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
* Reliable, punctual and a good team player.
* Valid UK driving licence (preferred).
* Right to work in the UK.
