How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    About the Role:
    As a CBRE Systems Engineer, you will manage infrastructure resources by monitoring system platforms and information technology operations.
    This job is part of the System Engineering job function. They are responsible for successfully executing and monitoring software design requirements and improvements to increase efficiency.

    What You'll Do:

    Troubleshoot system service failures by identifying and analyzing the situation and provides corrective actions.
    Develop, install, and test new network hardware and software releases, and system upgrades.
    Evaluate and install patches and resolve software related problems.
    Provide expertise on decisions and priorities on systems architecture.
    Engage with application development teams on current infrastructure projects.
    Help the establishment and implementation of standards and guidelines that guide the design of technology solutions including architecting and implementing solutions.
    Support all the various web applications and related systems such as search engines and web servers and middleware components.
    Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
    Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of own job discipline and broad knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.
    Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement.
    Impact a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities within own team and other related teams.
    Work within broad guidelines and policies.
    Explain difficult or sensitive information.

    What You'll Need:

    Bachelor's Degree preferred. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
    Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems.
    Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents.
    In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
    Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
