We're looking for a reliable and hardworking General Labourer to join our busy joinery workshop. This role is ideal for someone who has experience working with timber and hand tools and is comfortable in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assisting with the manufacture of timber windows and doors.
Using nail guns and a variety of hand tools safely and effectively.
Moving timber and materials around the workshop.
Supporting Bench Joiners with assembly and production tasks.
Keeping the workshop clean, tidy and organised.
Always following health and safety procedures.
What We're Looking For
Previous experience in a general labouring or woodworking environment.
Experience using nail guns and hand tools.
Manufacturing environment is desirable.
Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling duties.
Reliable, punctual and a good team player.
Willing to learn and work in a busy production environment.
Working Environment
Workshop-based role working with timber.
Part of a friendly team of 8 people.
The workshop can become dusty due to wood cutting and machining, so candidates must be comfortable working in these conditions and wearing the appropriate PPE.
