How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Functional Tester - SC Cleared (ETL, Data Migration, NHS)

    Leeds (Hybrid) Mainly remote

    2-3 Month Contract rolling

    £400-£425/day (Inside IR35)

    Functional Tester needed with active SC Security Clearanc,  NHS experience preferred on ETL and Data migration experience.

    Essential Active SC Clearance used last 12 months.  Need candidates Start ASAP July 2026.

    The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Functional Testing and ideally ETL and Data migration experience with NHS experience preferred.

    A chance to work with a leading global IT and Digital transformation business on the delivery of a complex cloud solution programme for a Government client.

    Hybrid Working: remote (WFH), and Leeds week working on-site in when required Leeds office and mainly remote.

    Key experience + tasks will include:

    Functional Tester activities ideally with strong hands-on experience in ETL testing and data migration.

    Work within an Agile environment and a rainbow team structure, ensuring collaboration across multiple squads.

    Apply estimation techniques and adhere to established quality processes throughout testing phases.

    Design, review, and execute test cases, ensuring complete coverage and alignment with requirements.

    Create and manage test data, estimate execution timelines, and proactively identify and discuss test issues.

    Maintain a requirements traceability matrix (RTM) to ensure end-to-end coverage.

    Manage defect logging, triage, and resolution, conducting regular “show and tell” sessions.

    Review and validate test artifacts for quality and compliance with the defined strategy.

    Establish and refine testing processes, ensuring efficient defect management and accurate progress reporting.

    Work to quality processes and mentor junior team members.

    Align testing objectives with overall project and business goals
