Key Responsibilities
Prepare interior and exterior surfaces by cleaning, sanding, stripping, filling, and repairing damaged areas.
Restore and preserve historic and decorative finishes using appropriate restoration techniques.
Apply primers, undercoats, paints, varnishes, stains, and specialist coatings to achieve high-quality finishes.
Hang premium wallpapers, murals, and specialist wall coverings with precision.
Carry out timber repairs, filling, caulking, and finishing to restore original architectural features.
Match existing paint colours and finishes to maintain the character of heritage buildings.
Protect valuable fixtures, furniture, flooring, and historic features throughout the project.
Work from restoration drawings, specifications, and conservation guidelines.
Collaborate with site managers, conservation specialists, architects, and other skilled trades.
Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and heritage conservation standards.
