TeacherActive is currently recruiting a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to work within a welcoming secondary school in the beautiful coastal town of Aberystwyth.

The Role
Provide high-quality classroom support across a range of subjects
Deliver targeted interventions with individuals and small groups
Support pupils with a variety of learning needs, including Additional Learning Needs (ALN)
Encourage independence, confidence, and positive learning behaviours
Assist teachers with lesson preparation and classroom organisation
Foster a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
Work collaboratively with teaching staff and the wider school team
Requirements
✅ Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
✅ Previous experience supporting children or young people within a school setting
✅ Knowledge of supporting pupils with ALN is desirable
✅ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
✅ Positive, reliable, and proactive approach
✅ Ability to build strong relationships with pupils and colleagues
✅ Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
