The Role
As a Mobile SMART Repair Technician, you'll travel across the Northwest carrying out high-quality cosmetic vehicle repairs at customer locations, ensuring every vehicle is completed to the highest standard with excellent customer service throughout.
Key Responsibilities:
·Carry out SMART repairs including bumper scuffs, scratches, alloy wheel refurbishment and minor paint damage.
·Prepare vehicle panels through sanding, masking and priming before refinishing.
·Colour match and apply paint using SMART repair techniques to achieve an invisible finish.
·Operate and maintain the fully equipped mobile repair van and associated tools.
·Deliver outstanding customer service while working at customer sites and dealership locations.
·Manage daily workloads efficiently to meet scheduled appointments and productivity targets.
·Complete all repairs in line with health and safety procedures and company quality standards.
·Accurately complete job documentation and report any additional repair requirements.
About You
We're looking for a motivated and customer-focused technician who enjoys working independently while consistently producing exceptional repair quality.
You should have:
·Previous experience as a Mobile SMART Repair Technician / SMART Repair Technician / Paint Technician / Paint Sprayer / Cosmetic Repair Technician.
·Strong knowledge of vehicle paint preparation, colour matching and SMART repair techniques.
·The ability to work independently and manage your own workload effectively.
·Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality repairs.
·Strong communication and customer service skills.
·A full UK driving licence is essential.
·ATA accreditation is advantageous but not essential.
