How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    About the role

As an Enrolment Support Advisor, you'll play an important role in making sure students have a smooth and straightforward start to their studies. Guide students through online enrolment, ensuring required information is complete and correct
Maintain and update student records across internal systems
Respond to student queries via email, phone, text and web chat, providing clear and helpful information
Identify and resolve routine issues, escalating more complex queries where needed
Work with colleagues across the University to ensure a consistent approach to enrolment
Contribute during busy periods and support enrolment-related events such as open days and assessments

    What You'll Bring:

Experience in an administrative or customer-facing role
Strong attention to detail and a focus on accuracy
Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal
Confidence using Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel and Outlook
The ability to organise your workload and prioritise tasks effectively
A proactive and adaptable approach, with the ability to work independently within established processes
A commitment to providing a positive and inclusive experience for students and colleagues

This role is offered as a fixed-term contract from 20th July until 12th October.

We encourage early applications, as we may close the advert ahead of the stated deadline if we receive a high volume of interest.
