How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Are you a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer looking for an immediately available opportunity with a well-established manufacturer that offers excellent training, a varied workload and the chance to work for a well renowned manufacturing company?

    On offer is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing manufacturing business on a 12-month fixed-term contract, where you'll play a key role in maintaining site performance while developing your technical skills through ongoing training and hands-on engineering work.

    This is a well-established manufacturer with a strong culture, investing in both its people and equipment. You'll join a supportive team working on a wide range of automated production machinery within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

    In this varied role, you'll carry out planned preventative maintenance, respond to electrical and mechanical breakdowns, fault find on production equipment and support continuous improvement activities to maximise machinery reliability and minimise downtime.

    This role would suit a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with GMP manufacturing experience looking for a well-paid, technically varied position on a 12-month fixed-term contract with a leading manufacturer.

    The Role
