How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    A Global Security Systems Organisation is currently recruiting for a Senior Project Manager to join the team in Germany.

    This Senior Project Manager will need extensive experience in the Electronic Security industry, working on Large scale Access Control & CCTV Enterprise systems sites with a good working knowledge of enterprise level access control systems for sales and design topics i.e. Lenel, S2, CCure, AMAG

    The Senior Project Manager will play a key role for all aspects of engagement for any customer in relation to any operational works, in any location within the business country.

    The breadth of coverage is truly end to end for any and all of these customers and stakeholders. Ranging from pre-sales enquiries and opportunity engagements, all the way through sales, design development, account management, project delivery, service delivery and after care. With a definite focus on the Project Delivery phase of any engagement and driving the standards and efficiency during installation works.

    * Act as a trusted advisor and support point for your team, and customers, identify and remove roadblocks.

    * Develop relationships with the decision makers of the customers and promote the company as a valued partner.

    * Take ownership of all Project delivery aspects and ensure and smooth and efficient delivery of the project, and programmes.

    * Plan and monitor programmes progress and individual project’s progress, ensuring accurate and concise data and information.

    * Understand and drive the overall timescales and programmes of work, to achieve customers key dates and deadlines.

    * Centralise documentation (reports, planning, financials, EHS, etc..).

    * Day to day usage of client platforms to ensure paperwork is up-to-date (Tech subs, benchmarks, Quality paperwork).

    * Assigns tasks to team members to ensure project objectives are completed as required. Oversees all project plans and implements job procedures, so construction schedules and coordination of projects are completed to a high level.

    * Carries out site walks and reviews regarding progress, quality control, Health & Safety and general overall conduct. Driving for high standards in all aspects.

    * Oversees customer orders internally and coordinates the procurement of materials, supplies and services, and controls timely delivery to jobsite.

    * Own and lead change orders, changes in design, contract price, implementation plan or other activities and implements same.

    * Devises a plan of action to remedy any project problems.

    * Selects and monitors the performance of subcontractors.

    * Keeps self, superiors and subordinates informed of all work and project progress. Maintain all records of job status, job changes, material flow and other control records and supervise the preparation and processing of reports for internal and external use. Assist senior management in forecasting and ensure proper job management and cost control by reviewing financial project data

    * Responsible for ensuring the team complete all paperwork including as-builds, purchase orders, job close out reports, handover documentation, commissioning sheets, internal company records and that jobs are handed over correctly, timely and to standards.

    * Ensuring jobs are invoiced correctly and timely, profitable and revenue is received.

    * Work in compliance with the company’s Health and Safety standards and requirements; with the safety of self and others in mind at all time.

    * Build and maintain technical relationships with suppliers / partners.

    * Travel to sites to meet all the on site project stakeholders (clients, consultants, other trades, direct staff, sub-contract staff, etc) and build relationships
