How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Art Teacher or Food Technology Teacher - SEMH Education Roles

    Revolve Collective are proud to be working in partnership with a specialist SEMH provision based at their Blythe Bridge site in Staffordshire to recruit two separate teaching positions:

    * Art Teacher

    * Food Technology Teacher

    Please note: these are two distinct roles. We are welcoming applications from subject specialists in either Art or Food Technology, rather than a combined post.

    About the setting

    This is a specialist educational environment supporting young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Pupils may present with a range of barriers to learning including disrupted education, trauma-related needs, neurodiversity and difficulties with emotional regulation.

    The school provides a highly supportive, structured and nurturing approach where relationships are at the centre of everything. Small class sizes, tailored learning pathways and a strong pastoral framework enable pupils to re-engage with education and build confidence over time.

    The roles

    We are seeking passionate and resilient teachers for the following vacancies:

    * Art Teacher

    * Food Technology Teacher

    As an Art Teacher or Food Technology Teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering engaging, practical and meaningful lessons that support both academic progress and personal development.

    As an Art Teacher or Food Technology Teacher, you will be expected to:

    * Deliver creative, accessible and differentiated lessons tailored to SEMH learners

    * Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils

    * Support emotional regulation and positive behaviour through consistent routines

    * Contribute to a trauma-informed and inclusive learning environment

    * Work collaboratively with pastoral staff and wider teams

    Whether you are applying for the Art Teacher or Food Technology Teacher role, you will be joining a team that values creativity, patience, consistency and a genuine commitment to improving outcomes for young people.

    Candidate requirements

    We are keen to hear from qualified teachers with:

    * QTS or equivalent teaching qualification

    * Experience in SEMH, SEND, alternative provision or mainstream settings with strong behaviour experience

    * A calm, resilient and nurturing approach

    * The ability to inspire and engage learners who may have significant barriers to education

    Why apply through Revolve Collective?

    Working with Revolve Collective gives you access to a more personalised and supportive recruitment experience:

    * Partnership with the Director of Revolve Collective – direct, honest and transparent communication throughout

    * Highly competitive weekly pay (paid in line with experience and scale, with flexibility for exceptional candidates)

    * Weekly payroll for consistency and peace of mind

    * Paid leave entitlement for eligible contract arrangements

    * Dedicated wellbeing support programme - earn rewards the more you work, offering ongoing support beyond placement

    * Tailored role matching to ensure the right fit for you, not just a placement

    We pride ourselves on doing things differently; offering a more human, supportive approach to education recruitment.
