We are currently seeking an experienced Side Loader Forklift Driver to join a leading manufacturing company, supporting the Dispatch department. This role is ideal for a reliable and safety-conscious individual with previous experience operating side loader trucks in a busy manufacturing or warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
Operate a Side Loader Forklift Truck safely and efficiently to transport long and oversized materials.
Load and unload vehicles for inbound and outbound deliveries.
Support the Dispatch department by preparing and loading customer orders accurately and on time.
Carry out stock movements and ensure products are stored correctly.
Maintain high standards of housekeeping and comply with all health and safety procedures.
Work closely with warehouse and production teams to ensure smooth daily operations.
Candidate Requirements
A valid, in-date Side Loader Forklift Truck licence is essential.
Previous experience operating a Side Loader Forklift Truck within a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
A strong understanding of health and safety procedures.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
Good communication skills and a proactive approach to work.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
