Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:00pm
Working Pattern: Term time plus 2 weeks
Search are delighted to be partnering with a well-regarded education provider in South Liverpool to recruit an HR Assistant.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in an HR support role, preferably within the public sector, and will either hold or be willing to work towards a CIPD Level 3 qualification.
Key Responsibilities:
You will provide essential administrative support across the full employee lifecycle, including:
Coordinating end-to-end recruitment processes, from advertising roles and managing applications through to onboarding new starters
Supporting monthly payroll activities and maintaining accurate employee records
Assisting with absence management and probation processes, including meeting coordination and reporting
Maintaining HR records in line with GDPR and data protection requirements
Administering training, CPD, appraisal, and performance management processes
Producing HR reports and analysing workforce data to support decision-making
Identifying opportunities to improve processes and maximise efficiency through systems and technology
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
Previous experience in an HR support or administrative role (education or public sector desirable)
Working knowledge of HR processes and employment legislation
Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise workload effectively
Confident communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive matters professionally
A high level of discretion and commitment to confidentiality
Desirable:
CIPD Level 3 (or currently studying / willing to work towards)
Experience supporting payroll or high-volume recruitment
