How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Our client is a well-established Managed Service Provider specialising in Data Resilience, Cyber Security and Cloud Solutions. They help organisations protect critical data, strengthen cyber security, minimise downtime and recover quickly from business disruption.

    Data ResilienceAs part of their continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Account Manager to join their successful commercial team.

    The Role

    This is a genuine account management opportunity focused on nurturing and developing an established customer base. You'll build strong, long-term relationships with existing clients, ensuring they receive exceptional service while identifying opportunities to introduce additional solutions that support their evolving business needs.

    There is no requirement to bring existing clients, contacts or a book of business. You'll inherit a portfolio of customers and focus on growing those relationships.

    Key Responsibilities

    Manage and develop an existing portfolio of business customers
    Build trusted relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers
    Conduct regular account reviews to understand client objectives
    Identify opportunities across Managed Services, Cyber Security, Cloud and Data Protection solutions
    Collaborate with technical consultants and pre-sales specialists to deliver tailored solutions
    Drive customer satisfaction, retention and long-term account growth
    Manage renewals and maximise revenue opportunities within existing accountsAbout You

    You'll have previous experience managing customer accounts within an MSP or IT services environment and enjoy building lasting client relationships.

    Experience with one or more of the following would be highly beneficial:

    Backup & Disaster Recovery
    Microsoft 365
