The Role
You'll support adults in specialist healthcare settings, working with individuals with mental health needs and learning disabilities. Every shift offers the opportunity to make a genuine difference while gaining experience across a variety of services.
Responsibilities
* Supporting individuals with day-to-day living activities
* Promoting independence, dignity and choice
* Assisting with mobility and safe moving & handling
* Supporting with meals, hydration and personal wellbeing
* Observing and reporting changes in service users' wellbeing
* Completing accurate records and following individual care plans
What We're Looking For
* At least 6 months' recent UK experience as a Support Worker or in a similar healthcare role
* A caring, reliable and professional approach
* Flexibility to work a variety of shifts
* Ability to travel within Huddersfield and the surrounding areas using your own transport or public transport
