How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Supply Teachers required for September
    Class Education are your excellent, friendly local teaching agency with a collective of over 25 years of experience and we are looking for committed and versatile Supply Teachers to join our team in and around the Herts and Beds area.

    We are seeking enthusiastic qualified teachers who are eager to make a difference in the lives of young learners while having a work life balance. As a supply teacher for Class Education, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our vibrant educational environments and grow both personally and professionally.
    The supply work will commence from the new academic year (or immediately if required), covering across all key stages, with flexible short-term, long-term and daily supply available.
    Key Responsibilities:
    * Deliver engaging and effective teaching across various subjects and year groups.
    * Adapt quickly to different classroom settings and school environments.
    * Implement lesson plans provided by the regular teacher or create stimulating lessons as needed.
    * Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere, ensuring all students are supported and encouraged.
    * Assess and monitor students’ progress, providing constructive feedback to aid their academic growth.
    Requirements:
    * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
    * Comfortable covering lessons across national UK curriculum
    * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    * Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of individual students
    * Enthusiasm for promoting health and wellbeing among young people
