How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    We are seeking a meticulous Supply Chain Planner to support logistical operations within the FMCG industry. This temporary role, based in Maidstone, focuses on ensuring efficient planning and coordination of harvest activities.

    Description

    Managing grower sub international missions, stock data and short term supply forecasts, ensuring accuracy and timely availability across all planning systems
    Building and executing daily (Day 1) harvest and allocation plans, aligned with weekly supply, stock age, quality, logistics constraints and demand priorities
    Allocating supply to demand using planning tools and ERP systems, identifying risks or gaps and coordinating adjustment with Planning, Logistics and Grower Operations
    Acting as a central communication hub between growers, commercial teams, master planning, logistics and intake
    Creating, updating and managing grower purchase orders, harvest orders and ASN related activities
    Supporting intake and site teams with arrivals, open stock visibility and operational queries
    Ensuring system inputs are accurate and contributing to continuous improvement of planning processes and ways of workingProfile

    A successful Supply Chain Planner should have:

    You are a detail oriented and communicative planner who thrives in an operational environment where priorities can change quickly. You are comfortable working with data, engaging with multiple stakeholders and making real time decisions to keep operations on track.
    Strong planning and organisational skills, with the ability to balance accuracy and pace
    Clear and confident communication skills when working with growers and cross functional teams
    An analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret data, investigate variances and resolve issues
    Experience working with ERP systems (ideally Prophet) and strong Excel skills
    A proactive and resilient attitude, with confidence to take ownership in a dynamic environment
    Flexibility to work early starts, weekend shifts and adjusted weekly schedules
    Understanding of operational supply chain processes, including orders, arrivals and ASNsJob Offer
