How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    SANZA Teaching Agency is excited to offer an exceptional opportunity in education for a teaching assistant to become part of a thriving 4-form entry primary school in Hammersmith and Fulham. The school provides on-site parking and benefits from outstanding transport links via bus routes and underground stations (District and Piccadilly Lines).

    We're seeking support for a Year 1 pupil diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) who communicates non-verbally.

    The Role: As a dedicated teaching assistant, you'll be instrumental in delivering personalised one-to-one care for this student. You'll enable the child's engagement in classroom learning, encourage peer relationships, and champion their academic and personal growth.

    Your Duties:

    Deliver tailored support to the autistic pupil, prioritising their safety and wellbeing
    Execute and monitor the student's Individual Education Plan (IEP) alongside behaviour support strategies
    Support communication and speech development using alternative communication tools
    Work in partnership with classroom teachers and the SENCO to customise learning experiences
    Create an welcoming and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages peer connections
    Maintain ongoing dialogue with families, sharing updates on the child's development and update education and trainingEssential Criteria:

    Proven background working with children on the autism spectrum or comparable additional needs
    Familiarity with non-verbal communication approaches and techniques
    Expertise in behaviour support methods with flexibility to personalise approaches
