How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Senior Full Stack Developer (React / Node.js / AWS)

    Location: Midlands (Hybrid – 3 days per week in the office)

    We're looking for an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to join a growing technology business delivering bespoke software solutions for enterprise customers.

    This is a fast-paced, collaborative environment where you'll work alongside Architects, Cloud Engineers, Business Analysts and Product teams to build modern cloud-native applications. The business embraces innovation, encourages new ideas and values people who enjoy solving complex technical challenges together.

    This role requires a minimum of three days per week onsite, reflecting the company's strong belief in collaboration, knowledge sharing and building high-performing teams.

    What You'll Do

    * Develop modern applications using React and TypeScript.

    * Build scalable backend services with Node.js.

    * Design and integrate RESTful APIs.

    * Work with PostgreSQL and AWS cloud services.

    * Contribute to code reviews, engineering standards and CI/CD pipelines.

    * Collaborate with technical and business teams to deliver high-quality software.

    About You

    You'll have commercial experience with most of the following:

    * React 18+ and TypeScript.

    * Node.js (Express or Fastify).

    * REST APIs.

    * PostgreSQL.

    * AWS.

    * Docker and Git.

    * Modern software engineering best practices.

    Experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, Redis or microservices would be an advantage.
