We're looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a leading Facilities Management provider supporting a critical healthcare contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a highly regulated environment, maintaining critical electrical infrastructure that supports the safe and efficient operation of essential services.
Working closely with the Estates team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring all electrical systems are maintained to the highest standards, minimising downtime and supporting a safe, compliant environment.
ā” What you'll be doing:
š§ Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on electrical systems across the site
āļø Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs safely and efficiently
š ļø Ensuring electrical installations comply with current regulations and industry standards
š Supporting statutory inspections, testing and certification requirements
šØ Responding to emergency breakdowns and prioritising critical systems
š» Maintaining accurate maintenance records using the CAFM system
š¤ Liaising with contractors and internal teams to support the delivery of engineering works
𦺠Following all Health & Safety procedures while working within a live critical environment
š·āāļø What we're looking for:
š¹ NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation or Electrical Engineering
š¹ 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
š¹ Experience in Facilities Management, Building Services, Healthcare or a similar maintenance environment
š¹ Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
š¹ Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
š¹ Good understanding of statutory compliance and safe working practices
š¹ Strong communication and customer service skills
ā Desirable:
ā Previous experience working within a healthcare or critical environment
ā Experience working on critical building services infrastructure
ā Experience using CAFM or maintenance management systems
