Responsibilities
As a Secondary Teacher working with Tradewind Recruitment, you will:
Deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that inspire and motivate students.
Plan and prepare lessons where required for longer-term assignments.
Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of different learners.
Create a positive, inclusive and safe learning environment.
Assess and monitor student progress where appropriate.
Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
Work collaboratively with school staff and leadership teams.
Maintain accurate records and provide feedback when required.
Requirements
To be considered, you should have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Experience teaching within UK secondary schools (placements considered for ECTs).
Strong classroom management skills.
Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
Flexibility, reliability and a positive attitude.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one through Tradewind Recruitment).
The right to work in the UK.
