How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Fixed term to 31st March 2027, Full Time (37 hours per week)

    Our partnership with Places for People has enable us to identify funding to embark on a range of regeneration projects aimed at uplifting our estates and communal areas. This s a great opportunity to help shape and deliver this high impact project and work closely with our customers to improve the areas surrounding our homes.

    The role will be based in our City Centre Office in Sheffield, but our roles are hybrid and a balance of in office and working from home is encouraged.

    This is a fixed term opportunity but will allow the right candidate to take part in an exciting project, enhance existing skills or learn new ones. We are offering a flexible role, working in a caring and friendly team, with a great package of benefits.

    More about the role

    We are designing a programme that will last 3 years. The role will help us pull together that programme and deliver the projects that will form part of the first year. The year 1 budget will be £1.4 million, and we will need to mobilise the project quickly so we can start to make the impact we are committed to provide for our customers.

    The role is to project manage the programme of projects that will make up the first year and help design the remainder of the 3-year programme.

    The role will report to our Head of Landlord Services and work with a range of colleagues across the organisation in delivery of the projects. These are likely to range from small scale estate improvement works to a small number of estate wide improvement projects.

    * Some experience of project management and budget control and management.

    * Able to work on your own initiative, have good planning skills and be able to work to deadlines.

    * Good communications skills and be able to work with a wide range of people.

    * The ability to prioritise key tasks and present and interpretate data.

    * Adapt to changing priorities and demands.
