Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for your next rewarding role?
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and well-resourced SEND school in Feltham for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support students aged 11–19 with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a specialist setting where you'll play a key role in helping students achieve their academic, social and personal goals within a supportive and inclusive environment.
The Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
Provide one-to-one and small group support for students with ASD.
Support learning across a range of subjects and activities.
Help implement personalised learning and behaviour support plans.
Encourage communication, independence and positive social interaction.
Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists and other support staff.
Promote a safe, engaging and positive learning environment.
The Ideal Candidate
We're looking for someone who:
Has previous experience working with children or young people with SEN, particularly Autism (ASD).
Is patient, resilient and passionate about supporting young people.
Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Can build positive relationships with students and staff.
Is proactive, reliable and able to work effectively as part of a team.
Holds a DBS on the Update Service or is willing to obtain one.
