How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Waking Night Support Worker

    Location: Prenton, Wirral
    Contract: Permanent, Full-time
    Salary: £26,298 per annum
    Service Area: Wirral Services

    About the Role

    We're looking for a dedicated and compassionate Waking Night Support Worker to join our residential service in Prenton. This is an excellent opportunity to play a vital role in supporting residents throughout the night, ensuring their safety, comfort, and wellbeing while promoting independence and dignity.

    As part of our committed team, you'll help create a safe, supportive environment where individuals can thrive, making a meaningful difference every night.

    Key Responsibilities

    * Provide high-quality overnight support to residents.

    * Ensure the safety, security, and wellbeing of individuals throughout the night.

    * Respond appropriately to residents' needs and any emergencies.

    * Maintain accurate records and complete required documentation.

    * Carry out routine welfare checks and support residents in line with individual care plans.

    * Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver person-centred care.

    About You

    We're looking for someone who:

    * Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    * Can remain calm and professional in challenging situations.
