How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Aspiring Educational Psychologist – SEN Teaching Assistant
    Location: Brixton, SW2 (Lambeth)
    Pay: £545 per week
    Start Date: September 2026
    Are you a Psychology graduate or aspiring Educational Psychologist looking to gain hands-on experience in a school setting?
    This is an excellent opportunity to work as an SEN Teaching Assistant in a supportive primary school in Brixton, helping children with additional needs while building the experience required for a career in Educational Psychology.
    About the Role We are looking for a motivated and compassionate individual to support pupils with Special Educational Needs, including autism and social, emotional, and communication needs.
    You will play a key role in supporting students both inside and outside the classroom, gaining valuable insight into how children learn and develop.
    Key responsibilities include:

    Supporting pupils with SEN on a 1:1 and small group basis
    Assisting in the delivery of tailored learning plans and interventions
    Observing and reporting on student progress and behaviour
    Supporting emotional regulation and social development
    Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionalsWhy This Role? This role is specifically designed as a career launchpad for aspiring Educational Psychologists.
