How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Electrician (Training in Renewables)

    South Wales / Bristol

    £40,000 - £45,000 + Van + Training in Renewables + Progression + Incentives + Pension + Holidays!

    Are you a fully qualified electrician looking to join the rapidly growing renewable energy sector and expand your skillset through formal training on renewable energy systems?

    Do you want to progress your career in a role which offers a fast route to management in an organisation that invests heavily into the training and mentoring of their staff?

    The company specialise in the design, installation and maintenance of Solar PV, Battery, and EV systems on a domestic and commercial basis. They are growing as the industry expands continuing to pride themselves on a high-quality service.

    The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified electrician who is looking to move into the expanding and future-proof renewable energy sector. They must have their NVQ Level 3 and 18th edition as well as a driving license. They will also have good communication and take pride in their work.

    If you are looking to progress your career, within an organisation who are offering a pathway into renewables and a fast route to management - this is the position for you.

    The Role:

    * Installation, maintenance and service of renewable energy systems
    * Domestic and Commercial
