How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Veritas Education is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and nurturing primary school in Clitheroe, Lancashire, for a passionate and dedicated EYFS Teacher to join their committed team from September 2026 on a fixed-term basis.

    This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher who is passionate about giving children the very best start to their educational journey. The role is full time, initially for the Autumn Term, with the potential for extension. The school is looking for a teacher with recent EYFS experience who can create an inspiring, engaging and stimulating learning environment where every child can flourish.

    Promote children's development across all areas of learning through high-quality provision, both indoors and outdoors.
    Support early language, communication, phonics, reading, writing and mathematical development through exciting and purposeful activities.
    Have high expectations for behaviour, learning and achievement while fostering children's confidence and independence.
    Demonstrate excellent classroom organisation and behaviour management skills.
    Build positive and effective relationships with pupils, parents, carers and colleagues.
    Work collaboratively with the wider EYFS team to plan, assess and provide the best possible outcomes for all children.
