Experienced Structural Fabricator Required | Full Time | Long term opportunity
A well-established engineering and manufacturing company is looking for a skilled Structural Fabricator to join their busy workshop team on a temp to perm basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced fabricator seeking stable work, strong hourly pay and a genuine route into a permanent position.
Pay Rate
£17.50 per hour
Shift Options
Day Shift:
Monday to Friday
7am – 3pm
Afternoon / Late Shift:
Monday to Thursday: 2pm – 10:30pm
Friday: 1pm – 7pm
The Role
Fabricating structural steel components from engineering drawings
Measuring, marking out, cutting and assembling steel sections
Working with beams, frames, columns and bespoke fabrications
Using a range of fabrication tools and workshop equipment
Tack welding where required
Carrying out quality checks to ensure accuracy and finish standards
Working to production deadlines in a busy fabrication environment
Maintaining a clean and safe workspace at all times
Requirements
Previous experience as a Structural Fabricator, Steel Fabricator or similar role
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Experience working with structural steel or heavy fabrication
Competent with fabrication tools and workshop processes
Strong attention to detail and quality
Reliable, punctual and a strong team player
